Monaco Marine's jobs: an expertise at the service of yachts

Monaco Marine is more than just a shipyard: it is an ecosystem that brings together men and women passionate about medium- and large-sized yachts. Every day, a multitude of skills come together to offer shipowners and crews top-quality maintenance, refit and technical assistance services. The yacht shipyard’s jobs encompass a diverse range of competencies, tailored to the various trades found at the nine sites along the French Riviera.

A diversity of know-how

To guarantee the quality and smooth running of operations, Monaco Marine relies on a wide range of professional skills, some of which are exclusive to yacht shipyard jobs, including:

  • Boat maintenance technician: a true on-site technician, he is involved in all operations related to the movement of vessels in the shipyard, cargo handling and logistics installation.
  • Electrician: responsible for electrical installations, he works on both on-board systems and construction site equipment.
  • Pontoon operator: acting as the interface between the port and customers, they are responsible for welcoming, mooring and ensuring the safety of yachts at the quayside.
  • Accountants: working behind the scenes, they ensure the smooth financial management of activities.
  • Administrative assistants: essential for monitoring and organisation, they support the operational and managerial teams.

Focus on three key roles at the heart of the shipyard:

The marine engineer: ensuring the performance of the vessels

Versatile and meticulous, marine engineers work on engines, hydraulic systems and auxiliary equipment. Whether carrying out diagnostics, repairs or preventive maintenance, their work is essential to the reliability and safety of the yachts.

The Project Manager: Ensuring the satisfaction of captains and shipowners

A true conductor, the project manager supervises every stage of the projects entrusted to Monaco Marine. Planning, budget monitoring, subcontractor management, and customer relations: he ensures that the shipyard meets deadlines and quality requirements. At the crossroads of technical and interpersonal aspects, he embodies the image and expertise of the company.

The Yard Manager: supervising vessel movements

The Yard Manager supervises all operations taking place at the quay and on the shipyard platform. As team leader, he organises mooring operations, vessel launching and hauling, and all handling operations, while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.

Monaco Marine University (MMU)

To support this demand for excellence and performance from its employees, Monaco Marine has brought together the management of skills development and professional expertise into a single entity, the Monaco Marine University.
